HoneyKanes has been delighting Whitstable since 2018. As an independent Sweet Shop, we have tirelessly searched the 'seven levels of the Candy Cane Forest' to find the most exceptional suppliers, bringing you the best quality confectionery we can. Come visit us soon to see the shelves bursting with colour while the HoneyKanes Express whizzes around the ceiling and the Whirling Twirling Bean Machine does its thing!
Our Story
HoneyKanes was opened following the closure of ‘The Sugar Boy’, an incredible sweet shop that was loved by Harbour Street visitors for almost 20 years. An enchanting little shop filled with nostalgia that just couldn’t be lost forever! Having grown up in Whitstable I was naturally determined to hold on to some of Whitstable’s whimsical history and so created its successor, HoneyKanes! We decided to keep it as traditional as possible with a little punch of colour induced JOY! The many shelves are bursting with over 300 mouthwatering sweets from as long ago as you can remember up to all the latest new sweets we can find! We have a 24 bin Pick’n’Mix area which everyone young and old love helping themselves to, and also a glass cabinet lined with the most beautiful Belgium & Kentish Chocolates from some of the finest Chocolatiers in Europe.
